Our business is built face to face. Most weeks you can find us at farmers markets across Sarasota and Manatee County, talking with the same customers season after season. That rhythm shapes everything about Goodfriend Honey Co., from what we make to how we sell it. It is also why we do not ship. I would rather hand you a jar and answer your questions than send a box to a doorstep.

This section covers the lifestyle side of the apiary: market life, community, and the practical realities of living with bees in Florida. Some of it is seasonal, like what to expect from the hives at different times of year. Some of it is distinctly local, like honest advice for handling no-see-ums when you spend your evenings outside the way we do.
