Ingredients

Deep dives into beeswax, butters, botanical oils, and the raw materials behind everything we make.

What Goes In, and Why

I formulate the way I keep bees: pay attention, interfere as little as possible, and respect the materials. Every ingredient in our skincare earns its place. Beeswax from our own hives. Plant butters and oils chosen for what they do for the skin barrier, not for how they sound on a label. Arrowroot powder so a lotion bar absorbs instead of sitting greasy. Nothing added for show.

This section is where I take those ingredients one at a time and explain them properly: where they come from, what they actually do on skin, and why I chose them over the alternatives. You deserve to know why your balm feels the way it does, and the answers are usually more interesting than the marketing version.

Water-free formulas are concentrated by nature, so each ingredient matters more. There is no filler to hide behind. If you have ever turned a jar around and wondered how a short ingredient list can outperform a long one, start here.
