Beeswax Candles
Hand-poured in Bradenton, Florida using wax from our own hives.
Goodfriend Honey Co.
Experience the warm, natural glow and subtle sweet scent of real beeswax. Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using wax harvested directly from our hives, then poured into a reusable 8 oz glass jar that looks at home in any room. Beeswax burns cleaner, brighter, and longer than other waxes, and naturally purifies the air as it burns.
The Magic of Beeswax
Beeswax is a dense wax that burns slower and brighter than soy or paraffin, giving you more hours of light per candle.
No synthetic fragrances or toxic chemicals. Just a clean burn that won't release soot or harmful byproducts into your home.
Burning beeswax produces negative ions which help neutralize pollutants, dust, and odors in the air, leaving it fresher.
Our candles carry the subtle, warm scent of honey and floral nectar straight from the hive. No added artificial perfumes.
Candle Care
Trim the cotton wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn, and set the jar on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts. A steady flame means an even melt pool and less wasted wax. On the first burn, let the wax melt close to the edge of the jar so the candle burns evenly every time after. As with any candle, avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time, and store it out of direct sunlight between uses.
There is nothing artificial hiding in the jar. The gentle honey scent comes from the beeswax itself, the same wax our bees built in our own Bradenton hives, and the same subtle fragrance you notice when you open a hive on a warm day. When the last of the wax is gone, the 8 oz glass jar cleans out with warm, soapy water and is ready to reuse.
